However, over time, routines form, and we can become more comfortable with this next chapter of our lives. As a result, the support you need may decrease along with the complexity.

Where this occurs, Foundations can be a good solution to ensure the support and peace of mind you need is there, your retirement stays on track, and you remove any unnecessary costs.

The value offered each service is driven by client needs, rather than just the size of someone’s assets. The main differences between Foundations and Core are:

Financial Planning under Foundations is focused around the annual review meeting.
Clients using Foundations have relatively straightforward income strategies with fewer tax considerations such as additional entities, reduced savings allowances or tax incentivised investments.
Foundations works well for people with lower amounts invested such as when they are starting out or well into retirement and drawing on savings.

A Financial Plan is a road map that everyone needs to help them achieve the life they want. On that journey, ongoing support can be a huge benefit, but is not always right for everyone.

When we build your Financial Plan, we assess if you will benefit from ongoing support and will only suggest it if we think it’s in your best interest. Sometimes we might suggest that this is now, other times this might be several years down the line. If now isn’t the right time, you are always welcome to check in earlier if you need to.
